Biography
I was born in Montreal and grew up in Saint-Anicet, in the Montérégie region, before settling in Montreal, where I live and create near my studio. A graduate of the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal, I worked as an actress from 1991 to 2002, playing roles as varied as they were enriching.
As a multidisciplinary artist, I have devoted myself to the design and creation of sculptures for over 25 years. In 1996, a pivotal encounter with Quebec sculptor Patrick Amiot marked a turning point in my career. Impressed by his work, I learned the craft alongside him for over a decade, from 1996 to 2008. During those years, I developed my own artistic approach by giving abandoned objects a second life.
In the early 2000s, I began designing furniture and lamps using recycled materials. Both functional and aesthetically pleasing, these creations led to my first exhibition in 2003.
Since then, my work has focused on creating figures and animals fashioned from salvaged objects.
Over the years, I have presented my work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Montreal and elsewhere in Quebec. Alongside my sculptural practice, I have also collaborated on the design of several set designs for Quebec theater productions made from salvaged materials.
For me, each sculpture is an invitation to take a special look at the beauty of our world.

Artistic Approach
Buy and then throw away. This is a reality that all too often defines our times. This overconsumption leads to pollution that weakens ecosystems, destroys natural habitats, and threatens biodiversity. It is this awareness that fuels and inspires my artistic practice.
For more than twenty-five years—long before the circular economy, recycling, and the reuse of recovered materials became major issues—I have been transforming discarded objects and plastic materials into works of art. Today, this approach resonates more than ever with our society’s environmental concerns and is fully aligned with the challenges we face today.
I began by creating furniture and lamps before turning my focus primarily to sculpting figures and animals. Through each of my works, I seek to imbue them with a distinct presence, personality, and soul.
At first glance, the figure or animal stands out. Then, upon closer inspection, a multitude of everyday objects emerges, bearing witness to our collective history and our consumption habits.
My sculptures often inspire wonder with their
playful nature, but some invite deep reflection on our relationship with the environment. With humor, I take a critical look at the shortcomings of our society.
